The course is also recommended for non-technical people who want to familiarise with LTE networks as the course explains different scenarios of implementation. The course covers radio, transmission and core areas
Prerequisites:
A generic understanding of mobile networks.
At the end of course delegates will able to:
- Understand evolution to LTE from different existing network architectures including; Rel. 99 up to Rel. 8
- Understand how to upgrade and the migration path for Rel. 4,5,6,7,8
- Understand HSPA+ advantages and disadvantages
- Describe LTE Network Architecture E2E; E-UTRA/SAE
- List the Logical and Physical Channels of the network and its relevance for signalling and traffic.
- Understand OFDMA principle of operation and how it is applied within LTE
