ADVANTAGE has been designed for rapid implementation and ease of use. An intuitive user interface means that more users can start to harness the power of ADVANTAGE straight out of the box, and with improved administration settings, different user parameters can be specified to work across a multi-user environment.

Automatic optimisation reduces the need for user intervention and minimises any ensuing errors. The improved GUI ensures that complex parameters are configured away from the view of basic level users, to safeguard vital data.

Use ADVANTAGE to:

• Enable optimisation technology to help design your radio network: Automatic optimisation using ADVANTAGE is up to eight times faster than the same process, done manually, with a typically better RSS and C/I of up to 10%.
• Analyse network scenarios quickly, with limited resources: Setting up and running an optimisation is now up to 50% faster than previous versions, delivering huge increases in personal productivity. ADVANTAGE also supports the use of external and ray tracing models to improve accuracy and deliver optimised automatic re-prediction and height optimisation.
• Demonstrate improved network quality: A leading tier one operator has been generating 6% improvements in measured network performance, by optimising clusters using ADVANTAGE.
• Minimise the need for costly drive testing: Swisscom used ADVANTAGE to optimise the city of Basel over a two week period with no drive test measurements. The optimisation generated measured improvements of more than 8%.
• Optimise new technologies: Swisscom were also able to increase their effective HSDPA capacity by 8.5%, using the power of ADVANTAGE.
